Masai Mara CottageHoliday home - C56, Njoro, Narok County - Narok County
Naretoi is a ~1000 acre private, fenced estate located immediately adjacent to Enonkishu Conservancy, the northernmost conservancy of the greater Mara-Serengeti ecosystem. You can easily run or walk 5km within the fence, and there are two large dams with plenty of birds and hippos to observe during sundowners or a spot of fishing (for catfish and barbel).
For a single conservancy fee, guests can enjoy unlimited game drives in Enonkishu, Ol Chorro, and Lemek Conservancies during their stay. You MUST pay per-night vehicle and conservancy fees prior to or upon arrival at Naretoi. Kenyan/Kenyan resident ($20 over age 12, $10 ages 2-12 years) or non-resident rates ($85 over age 12, $40 ages 2-12 years) apply. Vehicles are $20 per night. A full fee structure and complete payment details will be given upon confirmed booking.
You can drive south to the Masai Mara National Reserve's Talek Gate in about 90 minutes, depending on road and weather conditions. An additional fee is needed for the MMNR or any conservancies other than the three listed above.
The little town of Emarti lies across the Mara River to the north of Naretoi. Petrol and diesel are available, as well as a few essentials. There is a small health clinic. Guests can participate in volunteer and charity activities through Enonkishu and the Mara Training Centre if interested. The town of Aitong is located about 10km to the south and has perhaps a few more amenities. We are two hours from the city of Narok, which you will drive through if en route from Nairobi.
